medwaytrials
Every cuple of days the lockring that holds the cog on my profile becomes loose. Everytime this happens i have to undo the bolts to fit the spanner in to tighten it back up which is a pain in the ass.Im wondering if any of you people have this problem, if so, is there any way to stop it.thanks chris

They only have a few alloy threads on them and are easily damaged. The lock rings are easy to get hold of try:www.alansbmx.comwww.customriders.comwww.pijin.co.ukThey might not be on there web site but they have phone numbers so give them a call.Paul
nb88
I had the same problem and ended up stripping the lockring when it came loose. This didnt strip the threads in the driver as they are stronger so i bought a new lockring, and threadlocked it in place, doing it up quite tight. Worked a charm

Gaz M
could be a number of reasons, how old is the profile, has it just started happening or has it always happened? it could be something silly and easily fixed in which case buying a new lockring would be silly but it could be that the lockring is fooked and you need a new one lol, have a good look at it and make sure everything is fine
Deonn h
Mine does that aswell .But does it matter? It never skips. The bolts on the wheel hold the hub together.
