Sitting in front of me there are two graphics cards.

The ATI Radeon 9800se 256MB 128bit

Here

And.....

The Nvidia Geforce 6 6200FX 256mb 64bit.

Features for this PNY GEFORCE FX 6200

- PNY GeForce Verto FX 6200 Graphics Card

- 256MB DDR Memory

- 64-bit Memory Interface

- AGP 8X Card Interface

- Games bundle included

- TV Output and DVI out

- CineFX Engine, Effects and Colour

- Full MPEG Support

- Supports DirectX 9.0

Which one would you choose to put in your system??

Cheers for any help. (Y)

I'd say the 9800 too, it may be the se version, but if its got a 128bit mem bus, then its performance will eclipse that of the 6200 which has only got a 64 bit mem bus.

Also you should be able to overclock the 9800 a bit to gain some extra performance, it's nice and simple with atitool and a set of cracked drivers from http://www.techpowerup.com/softmod/downloads.php.

Well i have tried that softmod, but as soon as i put a game on, it gives me a checkerboard patten, i dont think unlocking the other 4 pipelines always works, but ive downloaded ati tool, and it seems to be working sound!
