SQuiT-man
Hi, could any of you clever people help me with this problem-My computer used to play .mov files fine, but a few months ago it started playing with without sound. All other movie files work perfectly well.I got a feeling it happened since I downloaded new software like codecs, or got quicktime pro or something. What do you reccomend?I cant hear the sound on TM2!! Smo™
Search google for a program called 'Gspot' (might take a while and might want safe search on). Once you have that drag and drop one of your .mov files into it and it'll tell you what video/audio codecs the file uses and whether or not your copmuter has them installed. If not, obviously google them and download them. That should sort you out
ben_travis
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.htmldownload that, its the newest quicktime and it has most up to date codecs, i know all mine work, and i can hear the sound fine.its certainly easier to try than what smo has offered but if not then do what smo has suggested
