SuperDeathMonkey
My little borther just got an Onza T-comp frame and I've been trying to sort it out for him.He also got a new echo fixed wheel which came with some snail cams which I hadn't used before. So I tried to put some onza chain tugs on which for some reason won't fit on this onza frame. So I put the wheel on and It was so far back the snail cams were no where near the bolts. So I took a link out the chain and moved it forward.I tightened It up and tried hopping on the back wheel, there was a nasty sound and the wheel had moved all the way forward. Then I realized that the brake pads were barely touching rim and they can't be moved any more to face it.I could really use some help with this please
MrSuave
if the brake blocks dont touch the rim and the magura pistons are as far in as they'll go, the TPA is as far in as it'll go and the pads have plenty of meat left, then im afraid youll be needing a new, wider rim. As for the snail cams, make sure there both at the same point either side and tighten thaem wheel nuts like a bad boy!!!! hope this helps....
