Hi all,

I was speaking to a guy today who runs an enginering company, he said that if i wanted he would cnc copy a booster made by a biking company and reproduce them anodised in different colours for something like 3 quid. I was thinking i could sell them on ebay for a fiver posted but i was'nt sure whether this was legal. please tell me what you think and if you would be interested

LOL, you can't just make 1 change, and its legal. As you've openly admitted your going to copy someone else's design.

Its not the legal side of it. Whoever it is, has spent time and money creating and testing and developing a design. Working with riders and teams, metal suppliers and machinists to produce something that works well.... and you just want to rip em off... who cares if its legal mate... you suck.

You are virtually trying to screw over the likes of heatsink, by stealing thier ideas and trying to do them out of business.

Think this is fair all these small trials companys work very hard and i cant picture you being able to laser cut a specific peice of metal in a small scale for £3 per unit.................. that sound stupid............

ha yes i agree in part of this imagin how you would feel if u designed , mad eand tested a produced and some jusr copied it. but that part i dont agree with what you are saying DeeZee is that if you think about it isnt every just ripping off everybody else think about it 1 company designed and made a boost then acho, heatsink, koxx all go in on it an dmade them as well they r all coping each other. just make it diffrent make it ur own. BUT DONT MAKE IT THE SAME.

o.k. i see your point it is sort of wrong to steal their ideas but i might still design my own booster if i think it works well make a few and give them to my friends if they like them then ill see what you guys think then.

where do the small trials companys get their ideas from they must have copied some ones original design for a booster

i am not ripping anyone off 3.65 to make fiver to be sent to you

they would'nt be £3 that was the approxamate cost for a non anodised one to be manufactured

they would be £3 plus postage

is the drawing to scale or do you have the measure ments im very interested in this design

its to scale but it isnt finnised as below it need's altering i'll pm you about it

why dont you have it with long slots instead of holes, and in 2 bolt. that way i could buy it to fit my 2 bolt :P

it will when its done its just summit i knocked up quickly
