Ben Collins
This morning my 19" rear echo wheel arrived. I also got a 12t cog with it my problems are:Should i force the 12t cog on as it seems pretty hard even though i am sure that im not crossthreading it.It came with snail cams which i have never used before, and i here you need a bolt or something to put into the frame to make the snail cams work, if so i need to buy some and where can i get them?.Thanks alot Ben
Dallas
Do you have the proper thread pitch for the rear cog, there are two standard thread pitches for cogs, make sure you have the right one before you force anything. You should never really have to force anything, especially if they are new parts.Dallas
Ben Collins
the 12t cog does go on for about half a turn but then gets tricky.Ben Edited January 16, 2006 by Ben Collins
wilky_mod_legend2
Well, try taking cog off, and checkin both threads for pieces of cnc left in them, then put oil (3in1) on a rag nd go round threads so leaves a light coating of lube, then try again.Cheers wilkyShould fix your problem.
