nafan
I ride a zoo pitbull 05 and I currently have a totally gay stem - promax which is about 40 deg and 80mm long...I need to know really what will help me on my back wheel, but mostly help me to pedal up stuff...I also run non bulge bars so I really need one which isnt bulge and is quite cheap...I thought maybe something like an fsa xc170, but would this help?Cheers in advance lads,Nathan Edited January 15, 2006 by nafan
fairy elephants
Toxsin do a stem with a normal clamp size.I'm running the oversize clamp toxsin stem at the moment and it seems good, price is good too

endofreak
A stem with around 5 degrees of rise and 110mm in length would be the popular choice for that style of frame. Something like the Echo Control stem.I used to ride an 05 Pitbull with a Control stem and it rode pretty darn well.
Greetings
not good at numbers, but a high and long stem will give you a better tap, beter pedalkick, and will feel more easy on the rear. nevertheless its better to learn to ride on a low stem, it is the better way ouw. nafan
Ok cheers then lads, thinking of maybe getting either an fsa xc170 or the toxsin stem...Or I might stay with a higher rise one and get one with simalar geometry to the echo hifi low rise 06... (About 20-30 deg. and about 100mm long)Cheers again lads,Best regards,Nathan
