sir trial a lot
Hey, I used to love snail cams but i bought a pair of chain tugs as an experiment and never looked back Aslong as you get your chain tensioned properly on them then hacksaw the end off the threaded bit so it cant get hit they will last forever

Technical Tom
I went from chain tensioners to snail cams and i think snail cams are awsone and the don't move what so ever, if the snail cam on the drive side will not move anymore just use a hammer on it and then it will tensioner more, wel thats what i did Cheers,Tom. Dai the Socket
get some freshproducts snail cams with the notches Yep. On my old Python 2005 I had them and they were sorted Cheap and ace build quality. Really good idea.Ps. About 99% of chain tugs won't fit the Python's CNC'd rear dropouts. So there's no point trying! Dan6061
Just shorten your chain Take out 1 or 2 links, and try again
joshywa
might just be that your chain is realy stretched?

Will Arnold
depends what hub you run really.if you have a profile or '06 echo hub, then you wont have problems with the chain coming loose as you can beast the bolts proper tight.but if you have the regular mod rear hub with diddy bolts(6mm), then you will need to have a good tensioner as the tensioner will stop the wheel moving around. tensioners on a profile wheel = they are used for initial setup more than anything.tensioners on a normal wheel(6mm bolts) = they hold the wheel inplace when the wheel has been clamped.thats my take on it anyway
