Metal
would anybody think this would be a good upgrade? been looking at just a frame for a while now. i would have to use all of my T-Pro parts. worth it not worth it? thanks
CurtisRider
i wouldnt really bother? t pros seem to be good frames, maybe moving to a zona zip may help?how about upgrading your current bike a tad, improve the feel and quality of it, even respray it, itll breathe life into the thing and make you wanna ride it more-or at least that works for me cos it looks/feels like a new bike
zoo
If you move to a t-mag you won't be happy,i have a t-pro and my friend has a t-mag and the pro feels ssooooo much better, but you could do like above^ and get a zona zip, they are gooooooooood bikes i know a few people who have them and they love love love them, hope it helps a little bitzoo x x x

mike
Yeah get the new Zip if you want to stik with onza, or i'm not sure but the new Onza frame should be coming out sometime this year since it was initially made in the summer of last year, looks F**king sweet! The prototypeMike!!!Edit: had a picture but it was too big and didn't want to waste space, and slow down this topic, so i changed it to a link! MikeCottTrials
why not upgrade even more and get a zoo python
mike
why not upgrade even more and get a zoo pythonMaybe the guy likes Onza as he had a T-pro before and now is looking at getting a T-magNot a bad suggestion though mike, but i don't think he's got the money i think he's just getting the frame and using the T-pro parts, and the Python frame is a bit more than the T-mag frame. i'd got for the Zonz Zip though, they're f**king Lush!!!!Mike!!! poopipe
It doesnt really sound like much of an upgrade, more a sort of sideways move. The t-mag is only more expensive than a t-pro cos of the front disk and drilled rim (I know cos i got a t-pro with the front end off a t-mag and it cost the same as a t-mag)If you're not happy about the way the t-poo rides then consider something longer or shorter . If you want something shinier but like the way the t-poo rides then a levelboss or echo team are probably your best bet - i'm sure someone will correct me but i think their geometry is much the same as a t-poo.any non onza frame will mean you need a new headset & maybe a new BB but it's hardly a vast quantity of extra cash to shell out - especially compared to £280odd for a frame. If it were me I'd just get new forks, bars and stem . I think the echo bits are much the same shape as the standard t-poo ones. Oh, and buy an eno cos they're nice
T_PRO
I went from T-pro to T-lite.
Metal
mike: that prototype looks sweeet! i might have to wait and see how that rides.but till that day comes i might get some new forks, stem, bars. change how the bike feels to me see if i can make the front end feel a bit lighter. Feeley!
No stay with your T-pro frame its just as good if not better than a t-mag my m8 snapped a t-mag and dented to hell and they are wafer thin too, the t-pros are much stronger and in my opinion a better bike hope this helps. Metal
all help has been great thanks. im going to get new/better partsfor it and just wait till the frame gives in, then i will get a new one just home it lasts till that prototype is out *drools*
wayn3
i'd go up to 25 just for the entertainment value. they're reputed to be a bit snap-happy but for that money, who gives a toss? .looks like it takes a stupid onza headset tooYeah the T-comp is a bit "Snap-Happy", and as you said it does take the internal headset. So i wouldn't even think of getting that. I would say stick with the T-Pro or go for the Zona Zip, because the T-Mag will be a bit of a down grade in my opinion.
