Mark W
'lo all,As some of you may/may not be aware, Dan6061 recently had his Zona Zip stolen whilst out on a ride.Since it going stolen, the f**ktard who stole it has put it up on eBay. Nice one, thieves. Anyway, the main message here is DO NOT BID ON THIS BIKE: LINKY Dan's friends are bidding on it to make sure he gets it just in case someone else bids for it. The police have been informed, but the officer dealing with it is off-duty atm, so won't be able to deal with it 'til tomorrow morning. Anyway, yeah, don't bid on it!Fingers crossed Dan can get his bike back safe and sound anyway Mark

Dan6061
Whole story is on SDH Rob. It's horrible knowing that I was right next to the house my bike was in, and could do nothing about it until the police were there. Just hope the police pull their fingers out of their arses and do something about it.

If you look closely to the picture of the front of the bike, on your right hand side, just by he hose, you will see a scratch. That was put there by me building the bike. There is 2 dents on the driveside of the rear wheel, if you look very closely, you will see one. It has those shitty Diamondback grips on it with the huuge flanges. The Crawlers only have Maxxis on the driveside. The rear hose stays nearer the top of the bike, instead of drooping down near the top of the forks like most do. Again, looking closely at the rear brake, you will see the top of one of the bolts sticking up. This is becuase the bolts used are too long, so I used spacers to make sure it works. not many people do that by my knowledge... Think that settles it, I even had to explain all the to the Police officer on the phone!

Dan6061
Yeah I can understand that, but it's just like anyone asking you how do you know that your house is yours. You just know, down to even the small details. I'm really excited about getting it back. And hope the b*****d get's what he deserves..may even have to 'accidently' put a lovely scratch down the nice black, shiney pickup that was on his driveway. Ahh well I suppose once you've had your bike a fair while we all get to know the individual little things that make it unique. Put a nice scratch down his car yeah but do it at night when the police aren't there and when he isn't anywhere near the windows also let his tyres down a bit did you by anychance get a look at him today? to see if it was actually the guy that stole it off you or if it someone else who so happens to have the bike? Dan6061
Right, rang the police today, and they put me through to the guy allocated to it. He then allocated one of his PC's to it, and she rang me saying she's going to go to the guys house today, arrest him and take my bike to the Police station then ring me so I can go pick it up. All I need is proof that the bike is mine, and I have all of that right here. Can't wait
