MOSH
i dropped 21ft on a freeride to a sloped landing, on my kona scrap i dropped 7m to flat (dunno bout the foot, wasnt on the tapemeasure) and then i did 5ft rather sketchy on a t-bird:P not mine though...and really i just manualled and braked, and pedal hoped off./\ Biggest load of bullshit ive ever ridden ! ! I know what 7 metres is and thats like 27 foot to flat on a Kona scrap ! I dont think so if by some miracle it is you have a new world record ! My highest drop on T-pro about 4 months ago about 8 foot Josh
JonCongreve
Biggest so far is 6ft 4", landed really smoothly onto concrete. Don't see the point in big drops anymore because they can take alot out of you and your bike if not done well, still fun to do every now and agin for a buzz

flipkickbs
10ft pretty much dead on. and for you people saying drops just break you bike, blah, blah, blah. If you drop smooth then you and you bike are fine. After 10ft my rim was completely fine along with myself and the rest of my bike. I plan to do more at some point but i'm scared of turbulence etc on the way down. Plus its difficult to see the floor from so high up, and not forgetting how out of breath you will be from the altitude. Those are valid reasons for not dropping off things. Anything else and your either a liar, or a hippo. Ian

JonCongreve
myyy highest drop is 7ft something..had a fairly harsh landing Benny your landing wasn't harsh , it was like 7ft 6" so quite big, i think it's because you just didn't compress the landing well so in your mind it seemed big and a harsh landing. I thought the drop was pretty smooth You'll have to go bigger
Dan6061
Mine's somewhere around 5ft. Can't be bothered with big drops, I can never land smooth enough

Greetings
8-9 ft to flat, broke bb axle, result - almost had to give up trials (cracked bone in the foot + almost cut some vein open in my leg with what remained of the bb). now it's almost ok. that was 2,5 years ago. now i don't do drops, more than 7 ft i find is devastating the bike.7m to flat, eh? Thats pretty good going, quite a bit bigger than the world record. Got any vids? Haha.well, i watched a video of chris plumptre doing a huge (22ft claimed) drop to flat, and that's probably an unofficial world record. you can probably download it at the velotrial club zurich website www.vtcz.chthis is it but i dont know if the link will work, because its kinda strange that sitelinkee Edited January 13, 2006 by Inur
