Janson
anyone who has tried my brake will agree with me.tryall rim, grind, coust pads, alu backings. never tried anything that's come near.mike's cheated with that video, and increased the volume of the brake squeak. don't worry though, because your brake will be louder than his, he can't work with brakes to save his life. just get some heatsink backings and coust pads really, i find it hard to see that anything can work better.. Phatmike
The coust material above looks quite a lot lighter compared to mine. It's exactly the same tom. mike's cheated with that video, and increased the volume of the brake squeak. don't worry though, because your brake will be louder than his,Not in the actual video, Rob, ALL the sound is 100% unedited, they are indeed that loud. he can't work with brakes to save his life. But yeah, the combo rocks.
Janson
sounds pretty sketch either way.just kidding about the brake.. although i didn't quite like your brake setup when i was over. i know they are loud, almost too loud. i want my brake to be quiet when it sqeaks, and squeaky when it's quiet. go figure. fubarpatsharp
thats a nice bit noise on that vidbut not a very good way to show how well it holdsi test pads by holding the wheelbrake onlift the front wheel off the ground standing next to the bikeand push down on the bars as hard as i canthis i think simulates if a brake would slip when riding really wellmy crms are really good so farput them on rode for 30mins in abit of rainand they are the best ive rode with so far Edited January 10, 2006 by fubarpatsharp
