DeeZee
1 and 1 is possibly the worst internet provider ever. Unless you want a dead basic site, with no forums or anything.I use Catalyst2, who have excellent customer service and great value for money. Its run by a real person who is willing to talk to his users. Its a few quid for a Internet domain name. one that ends is .co.uk is cheaper and lasts 2 years between subscribing, a .com is a 1 year duration and costs more. mike
if your only looking at a website to host pictures of your bike etc. then why not get a freewebs one or a .tk?, it's free, but you have to put up with the millions of adverts around the sides.Mike!!! Jason
I thought it would because the domain name would be succesful meaning more people would want it so the price would go up.Cheers for the help though. If you make a successful site, with a half decent url, and decent traffic, then you could sell your domain name for a higher price. For example my friend used the url www.shockrock.net as a link to her personal folio. Take a look at it now, $248.00. Same with www.blingrecords.com which was once just a pathetic chav forum. $5999.00Bling records site is down by the way, type the url in on google.Keeping in mind that these are ASKING prices and are negotiable.if your only looking at a website to host pictures of your bike etc. then why not get a freewebs one or a .tk?, it's free, but you have to put up with the millions of adverts around the sides.Mike!!!I'd go with this also if you were just uploadng pictures to show other people. However there are websites which allow you to get a free forum, guestbook etc aswell. Unless you want to code your own...Jason Edited January 10, 2006 by Jason

Unless you want a dead basic site, with no forums or anything.hey i dont if i am right but the guy is only looking for the domain name not hosting . so 1 and 1 isnt the worst because its only the domain. this means it would make no diffrence, you could have a forum and wat ever you want.
