weebryan
do you have to grind the anodised finish of the rim to use a hs33 and are they strong
el curevo
Not sure how good the rim is, koxx are usually pretty good, but if the rim has a full braking surface you shouldnt need to grind the paint off. It will eventually rub away.
Trials Dave
you can grind it if you want, but the paint wont effect braking too badly. just leave it.
wayn3
My mates seem strong enough and the paint just rubs off after a bit .

downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
If your wanting to run a smooth rim, then just leave the rim as it is, and just leave the rim as normal, and wait till the anodised paint wears away (should take around 5 weeks)If your wanting to run a grind, just grind the rim as normal, and the paint will come off and it will be like a normal rim I advise you to grind it off though Ah, just noticed your using a front rim.Just leave it and use it with the paint on Edited January 6, 2006 by terror-error

matt rushton
you dont have to grind it away but the brake will probabley wear the paint away and make it look a mess
