Jaffacakes
At the moment I am running Zoo pads on a light grind and my break works amazingly in the wet or dry. I had plazmatics on a little while ago but when they got wet they didn't work at all.

sembo_trials
what makes the perfect back brake weather you grind your rims.... use certain pads.... or even put stuff on your rim it depends on your weight and how good you are, because when i just started i use to think my hs33's was amazing because all i could do was back hop and endo. but then when i got better i was introduced to tar.which i can send u loads if u want because i have 6 morrisons bags full''literally''lol. but then when i got even better and m brakes couldn't hold me aswell as they did before i got a grind.remeber though if you get a grind e.g. don't get a soft grind and then run something like cool stops.lol what you would be good with is the koxx blocks and plazmatic pads work amazing on a harsh grind and zoo pads, well they work good on tar. hope i help. at the moment i have a slightly harsh grind on koxx blocks. hope i helpcheers samy
wilky_mod_legend2
i would say: koxx browns oh a harsh grind!, amazing in all weather, and also you dont need to out tar on, as tar goes all gay in the rain, grind works all year round, good for natural and street as wellso i would say this is the best optionwilky
011001000110010101110010
Make sure you set the brake up to be perfect, spend alot of time doing that and any pad will grip well enough.
petit_pablo
Getting a decent back brake is partly down to the setup and partly, how well you set it up.The pads ideally need to hit the rim square on at the same time on both sides. This teamed up with either a spot of tar and a soft pad like the zoo or a grind and a pad like the plazzies or koxx browns will see you with a good brake

nafan
Anyone ever tried tar/monty brake spray with a grind and half decent pads, might give it a go if I learn how to grind my rims... Nathan
weebryan
i have got a onza hog with a grind and use koxx yellow blocks but also have found if you get cheap hair spray and spray it on your rims it is supper on/off feel once dry specially on smooth rims
p...koxx
yeah suppose hairspray is alright if you want a quick fix but wouldn't recommend it for long term use. the zoo pads are supposed to be really good.
YAJIB
i recon the best setup for the rear is a rb design lever with a good grind and some plazmatic crm pads and your on your way
