robo c
Just got a t-pro. What rims would you recomend for maximum weight loss.
CraigMackay
The older echo rims are about the lightest you'll find for the front, but not that you would notice. For the back most rear rims are the same weight to keep their strength. The heaviest thing on the t-pro is the forks, replace them with echo easy
aff1e
get the try all or new echo rims as they come in cool colours n arnt that expensive compared some rims
bikerboysam1
get the try all or new echo rims as they come in cool colours n arnt that expensive compared some rims deffinately don't get the try-all's as they are crapgo for the 06 ECHO's as they come in many colours and are recommended by most riders
tank_rider
To be honest on a mod i wouldn't worry too much about loosing weight, and be more concerned with maximising strength. To this end, I'd recommend either the new echo rims, or Onza Ronnies. As said above definately steer clear of the try-all rims, they have reputation for being pretty weak, with the sidewalls having the tendancy to dent very very easily compared to the rims mentioned above. bikerdude2006fr
I rekon that the try-all rims are strong as fook When it was snowing the last week or so, i have been running extremly low pressures just to stay upright, and i have been beasting the rim into edges and not even a wobble, dent or anything. I have heard that they aren't good for grinds though, so if you want to grind i would steer clear I find it a strong rim and would only look elsewhere if i started grinding. If you do grind then i would say to go for either a ronnie, new or old echo rim Cheers Jay
Mitch A
I would recomend either the Ronnie rim or the new Echo rims. The only problem with the echo rims is that the hub has to be 32h due to spoke holes in the rim which means you cant run a profile.Apart from that the echos are really good Also Ronnies come in 36h and 32h so you can have whichever hub.Ronnies are good aswell because they hold grinds well and brakes are easy to set up so no need to grind down your pads.CheersMitch
basher
i think abant rims are light and look good not sure if ive spelt it right
Dan6061
Have you tried drilling your T-Pro rims? If it's an '05 one, it should have Ronnies on it?
Onza Kieron
May not be the lightest but New Echo's or Ronnie and Reggie, I think it's better to go for Strong rims than ones that look fly are are stupid light, it's the main part that get a hammering on a trials bike.
