joe b
Well, my Ronnie rims has definately seen better day *cough* 13 big dents *cough*. And now i have some Christmas money to spend i think i need to get a new rim, and probably a new tyre too. I was thinking that maybe the rim isn't helped a lot by the fact i am using try-all (hard re-bound tyres), these have very soft sidewalls for more bounce. But more bounce with these tyres = more rimmage = BAD! Ronnie rim's have a bigger profile too, so i would have thought this would have made it weaker, causing it to dent easier. So, basically, i want to know what tyre / rim combination would eliminate this problem? They dont both have to be different. I am looking at new monty tyre and another ronnie rim, but what do you think??? The rim needs to holds grinds well, and have 36 spokes holes to fit with my profile hub...Thanks a lot in advance,Joe.Maybe i'm just fat?
