Membership Peculiarities

I find it peculiar to have to wait for membership. Being halted from giving ligitament insight into a subject on your "members chat". All the while, other "approved members" have negative things to say about a friend of mine. It is even more disappointing to see there apparently is no knowledgeable member to state some facts.

I have just read and seen some "premembers" have been waiting weeks for approval.

I am frustrated and disappointed. I see this situation as irresponsible.

it can get frustrating especially when you see something you would like to buy in the for sale section.

i say just put some decent, mature posts in and your time will come. i think its just a way of keeping chavs from wrecking the whole forum when they are bored etc. its a good way of filtering down 'propa' people into the 'propa' forum.

PATIENCE MY FRIEND! (Y)

If you saw the state of the forum before NMC you'd realise why the measures are in place.

we would all rather wait a while and get validated,

than be a member straight away and have a forum full of chavs

Yeah realy couldnt agree more, Go over to trials-online.com's forum its no way as good as this one the "txt tlk" realy bugs me!

i have only joined two months ago but its not about amount of time you have been a pre member its about how good your posts are and if there helpful or not.

spot on, there's no point doing a million posts if they're all cr*p, if you post enough useful ones then it's only a matter of time.

That's enough whinging now.

George has validated lots of people. I've done at least 20 in the past week. Be Patient.

Hint: I look at new members who are online, so the more often you're on the forum and if your posts are good then the more likely you are to be validated (by me)

Oh, and capital letters and punctuation don't go amiss. ;)
