Hi all,

i am in need of a new mod frame, at the moment i am riding a onza t-bird 04 model but am looking for something slightly lighter. I have looked at several frames but would like a bit of help deciding which.

i have been looking at the- Yaabaa, zona zip, zoo python and the gu typhoon.

Any opinions would be much appreciated.

Allen

zoo all the way!!

Yes yes yes...

Then you have the choice of:

The 05 with little bb rise and choice of long or short...

The 06 with bigger bb rise and choice of long or short...

You could even go with matty and get a echo team, they're not bad...

And if you really want you could get a gu typhoon mod...

All can be found here;

PS: XTP's are too expensive too...

dont like the long python too much.

echo team long is great

might soon give some info on a short gu frame, still waiting for it :(

BTW: the gu frame is quite heavy, so consider that if you want a lighter frame

Heavy? youve been picking up the stock boyo.

Gu Typhoon Long, compared to Python '05 long, is lighter.

GO GU!

Nah, I hate the feel of the longer Pythons. Probably those massively long stays I guess. Either way, that's why I was happy when the Zip had 362mm stays instead of 375mm. All good (Y)

Personally, I've had no trouble and a load of fun with my Zip frame. They're only £159 now, so even if you don't agree with how I feel it rides it's not the end of the world :P

Anyway, the high BB, short stays and long front end combo does it for me. Just gotta work out what you want, really.

Hey

I just got myself a new zona zip for christmas and im having major difficulty with it. Last night i built it all up and found out that my chain rubs on the frame because im running too large a chainring. So if i were you i would make sure that you do your research into what oarts you have and if they are compatible with your new frame.

Hope i helped

joe
