If it's on the downtube i advise you get a (downtube protector)armourdillo, but please don't try and be clever by making your own, they look crappy doodles, but yes, aslong as it is cheap get it (Y)

Toptube is in theory a bad place to get a dent, its supposed to be worse than the downtube as it holds alot of the frame together, the dent causes the tube to 'stretch' or flex sorta but on a TINY TINY scale... it's not gonna affect much at all in practice, so alls good really..

And to whoever said Echo Team frames aren't strong, they're quite wrong, none of the 04 Teams (properly the Team 05 Version 1) have broken I don't think... and the new 05v2/06 are supposed to be tough too...

If its quite a bit cheaper than a brand new Team, and is fairly young, I say go for it :)

Any frame will dent really from being dropped lightly,my friends onza t-mag was drooped a matter of inches onto a wall and it dented by the bashplate, you just have to hit the right spot, but you will know more about the bike than me as i've never ridden one,and don't know anyone who has one.
