Don't have a clue, It's a random photo, I googled for "aprilia", and defined my search to "extra large images only", then saw that and stuck it on my bg.

Nice RS 125 there, although I preffer the old shape.

Its windows xp.

The theme is called VistaXP and the dock is by objectdock :)

I've just googled on how to install themes, followed what it said and extracted the theme to C:\\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes, then I've went to Start -> Control panel -> Appearance and themes -> Change the computers theme -> Appearance, but the bugger aint showing up.

Any ideas? Have I done something wrong?

I'm tempted just to try Ubuntu for that effect thing. But I've never found virtual desktops to be that much use, I've tried them in the past but never got the hang of switching screens. Much easier to alt-tab through the open programs. Looks cool though B)

What about not having to worry about any security suites, not having to pay for any software (legally) and customising whatever you want. An I don't have a plan to upgrade my comp because it'll get slow, it's nice that Ubuntu doesn't get more bloated an slower after using it for a long time an each version that's released isn't more of a hog on the system it just gets more refined. I'm not much of a fan of DRM either really. You could try it as dual boot, if you dont like it, then you havent lost out on anything?

I have tried it before. Never got it fully set up, there is ALWAYS some problem that prevents it. I last tried Ubuntu 7.1 and my network just refused to work, so I gave up. I would quite like to give it another try and I even have a spare hard drive I could install it on.

The thing is, I use my PC for internet browsing and Photoshop. Since you can't get Photoshop on Linux (I don't think), I would have to dual-boot and then there would be no reason to actually use linux. And don't say use the GIMP, it's nowhere near the standard of Photoshop and it's slow.
