el curevo
This???hey!get a chris king! that's one of the best! But if you not got all the money, maybe a hope XC(yeah it's a xc hub, but I many say that it's really good).Sorry about my bad english -Eirik TotlandThe only problem with the hope xc hub is that sometimes the engagements points slip with trials. I would spend a little more and go for the bulb, much better and stronger hub. Ok its a bit heavier but not alot. The hope proII hub is to be really good, its going to be fazing out both the bulb and xc. Its also a bit lighter than the bulb but stronger than the xc. If you can spend a bit more money but cant afford a chris king, go for a hadley hub. Its the main rival to the chris king and a hell of alot cheeper. I think they are around the £199 mark. They also have alot more engagement points than the hopes. Help that helps

The hope bulb hubs are wa*kers sure they have more EGP's then a XC but the EDP's there self are tiny an weak and snap very VERY easy i see people go through them in a month My advice go for the XC good strong hub

Dai the Socket
If you're loaded and good, get a King.If you're richish and getting ace, get a Profile. If you're just rubbish, get an White Industries or someting cheaper 'cos you might break it or such lol.. jimbo666
if you have the patience i say wait for the new hope pro 2 trial to be released. it has around 48 points of engagement ( same as profile) and you get the amazing hope warrenty and customer service all for about £130 which is good value compared to kings. if you do not wish to wait try getting a king from america on ebay you can get them for about £185+ postage or if your on a budget and require a strong reliable hub get a hope xc . jimbo
rickyb
Or you could look in for sale/wanted there is a gold one on there for £150 i think it was but if your pickie and want a black one then your looking a lot more if you are going to get a king or any other hub for that matter i say just go for the gold king it will be a lot better for the money then anyother hub you will buy new and it comes with rim and spokes and you could posibly flog those rickyb Edited December 30, 2005 by rickyb

They're amazing for mod but unfortunalty their reputation doesn't hold for 26" (Don't ask me why, I have no idea)Either Hope XC or CK. Everyone loves them, and with good reason. If you're rich get CK, if not, then Hope still do the job. The hardest choice is what colour you want

Clownbike
I'd say the best thing to do would be get a king. Even if you have to wait a while longer to save the money i'd get the king. I've never had a king but it's been a dream of mine This way you will have one of the best hubs on the market, a load of engagment points and a touch of class I'm getting my hands on an eno which is the cheaper version (single speed) which should be good . The main point is you will feel the difference if you get a king, even though a slip is pretty leathal! If you got an XC you will prob want a better hub in 6months so it seems to be a sunk cost (partially). Good luck Neil
