Siders77
Didn't really like it to be honest. The filming kind of ruined it for me. The riding was good and that's all that matters.
Jonny Jones
I was talking to Andy about 30mins ago, and he said the reason why hes left T-F in terms of posting new videos was cos of the constant negativity. There was nothing constructive in your comment dude... try harder to be nice. I thought the filming was wicked! Expressed a fun day over all! But wait a sec, if the riding was wicked.. then surely the camera work must have been great enough for you to see how good the riding itself was?! J. Siders77
I see what you're saying. Yeah, the riding was good but some of the camera angles let the video down. I know I'm not good at making videos or anything but I was just put off my some of the angles he used. It was the fact that the camera was always moving. I like shots that just have the whole thing in (E.G- rider-gap etc...) and don't move much. I would go on a bit more but it's late and I'm tired. Why do people have to be so rude?Andy put a lot of work into that.........i'm sure.Ps , Maybe the moderators on this site should instill warnings for bad/negative comments concerning video posts? Its not a video editing site is it? Siders77
Hang on a minute. Is this all because of my poost?! I honestly didn't mean it to sound rude/ harsh or anything. Really sorry if it did! And it's an opinion I can't help my opinion can I? I'm not going to say I like a video even though I don't. This forum has too many rules already, we don't need any more! Constructive criticism is one thing, disrespect is another. I'm not sure if people have just gotten lazy in their criticism but it really does come across as being rude. Especially when this person has filmed, edited, and hosted this video all for FREE and no one is forcing you to watch it. Rob_P
Smart vid, I liked the upbeat music, filming angles and editing. Was smart. It keeps you interested. sidehop if all vids were just rider, gap, land, cut, rider, tap, cut etc etc...... then it would be pretty darn boring.I'll leave sidehop to curl up and die Nice one, what was the song??CheersRob
Jules
I actually really liked the camera angles it made a change and suited the music, although to much of it would start to get annoying. Anyway great vid and great riding looked like a fun day

He has delivered the goods..........for everyone on Tf. nice one Andy!I'll look forward to viewing your video offering in the future!Only Constructive criticism of course Dave
Luke Williams!
One thing i never get is when did we all beome professional camera men or ladies, when did we all become professional directors thast right non of use are in all fairness you wouldnt sit watching a movie and go well that camera angle is lame i could of done a better one! you watch a movie and enjoy it if its good! So why dont we all relax when it comes to camera angles etc becaue where not professionals untill we are we cant put a constructive post together about it because we dont know what where on about fully! To me its alot better that he made the vid than not make it!Anyways the vid was class i really enjoyed the riding was some nice stuff going down and how long did that guy have to pause on the sidehop
Martin Grainger
That was a really good video, partly because the filming was different and the music was a lot different from the usual.
george_seamons
Maybe the moderators on this site should instill warnings for bad/negative comments concerning video posts? Are you serious?! That's the most rediculous thing I've heard all year. If somebody doesn't like a video, they should say. It's a little thing called free speech. There's no point lying, telling somebody their video is brilliant, when its blatently not. That gives them a false impression that they can infact produce good quality videos.I'm not saying the video is poor quality, infact, I've yet to see it (now downloading). But to be forced into saying it's good, just because somebody cant take knock-backs about the editing is crazy. And to suggest warning people for their view on the video (when they have broken no rules on the forum whatsoever) is absolutly insane. And Jonny, in what way is "The riding was good" not constructive?! 011001000110010101110010
Great video! Vids these days don't come like this one, there all waide angle get everything in shots. You've gone for the high action and exciting shots and angles which fitted perfectly with the music. Top stuff Andy I look forward to seeing the next production. The music is The D4 - Let Loose

iwannaleeson!
i can safely say that i liked that vid, i thought the ridin was good and the angles used made the riding look good and altoghether made the day look quite enjoyable. . .liked the music to. Im just annoyed now that i missed it due to bloody flu! and i loved dan's crankflip. . .had to rewind cos it was too fast to see the first time . . very niceben
spangler
To me you could look at this video two ways. The angles didn't really show the magnitude of some of the moves i.e. distances height etc.But the angles did show the moves themselves which can be considered as a good thing. However if the video was intended to represent the day as a whole and the fun people were having then i think it was a success because to me the angles kind of made me feel as though i was there going from one object to another to watch people doing there moves. In my opinion i thought that the video showed me the fun people were having and some of the moves that went down, If you wish to view it from a riding only perspective then you may not appreciate why some parts of the vid were filmed the way they were, but to me it does not look like that was the film makers intent as it wasn't a new and exiting vid in which someone is doing there biggest best moves. It felt more like a scene report to me. It looked like everyone had fun so. Edited December 30, 2005 by spangler
Janson
i can not get over the fact that sam has got his hair cut. good video there, wouldn't have hurt if you had taken two steps back on some of the shots, but i know the feeling, it's hard to film in places like that, i have just come home from doing the same, it is awkward...
