Trials_Batts
Hi, I have had a rear magura julie for five months and it still wont bite properly. Me and my friend have tried all sorts to stop it slipping but nothing has worked. So far we have tried boiling water, Disk brake cleaner, wet and dry paper and dragging it to get it hot. None of these tecniuques have worked so we are now asking you guys! Any help would be appreciated because I am sick of falling on my arse!Cheers, Andrew
bambi_3
If you've still not got it working since five months then it probably wont work at all,my suggestion would be to get some new pads in it and see how that turns out. si. Ashley Smith
by the sounds of it you have tried.'too much' and it has glazed the pads over... my advice is to pop a set of new pads in and clean the disc brake rotor with hot soapy water......... then check calliper for correct alignment..... facing mounts is always a good idea.....the next step is to bed in the rotor and pads the best way in which i have found to do this is to ride the bike normally, dont pour water over it or muddy water etc i have always found this makes it worse.....dont get the pads red hot either , this will just make them glaze over again...riding the brake normally on and off etc will bed the disc in sufficientlyi hope this helps youregards ashalso a thought, there may be a chance that the seals are leaking at the back of the pads or one of the connection ines may be lose, check there is no oil that is going to contaminate the pads and rotora fresh bleed always goes down a treat aswellash

Silly boy! Also there isnt a "team" onza t-pro...gees... !aNT!Or you could just try and get your bike shop to give you a new one cus its not worked for so long, thats if you bought it from there and still have a reciept! !aNT! Fishy
I grinded my disc, worked a treat, didn't wear the pads that much quicker than if i hadn't got one, my guess is re-bleed and new pads j0efish
