laurent Posted December 24, 2005 Report Share Posted December 24, 2005 Someone could tell to me if, the current Onza Hog Rear, have a line on sidewalls as Viz rim or as my 42 mm fu...ing try all rim?My try all 42mm rear is cracked on this line!So i whant replace my rear rim by an other rear rim.....but not a try all.I was interesteed in buying Viz 42mm or 46mm but they seems to have the same line on sidewalls!The new echo seems to be the strongest, but the the maximum wide allowed by my frame is 46/47mmAnyway , if you have a piece of advice for à strong 42/46/47mm rear rim...it'll be great!Otherwise....i'll buy dx32..... As far as I know, yes all the Jiz rims have got wear indicators on the sidewalls. The two rims are very similar although the Onza material is supposed to be "harder" (nb - this does not nesccarily mean stronger). More significantly the Onza rim has eyelets for the spokes which in theory means the wheel can be built with higher tension and therefore the wheelbuild, not nesccarily the rim (confused yet?) will be stronger than the Try-All's.
