Greetings

Recommended Posts

i want some shiny silver rims for my ride and was thinking about echo 2006. now i have tryall and they just look gray. are 2006 echo rims polished? do 20" rims also collapse like the 26"?

20" rims are strong as fook, porters only collapsed cause he used shit spokes that were all threaded and just pulled out of the rim when he done that stupid gap....

and i think the rims ARE polished :D

hey.

ive had mine for a little while now. they've took some abuse. ( rimmed out on rails and walls etc) and so far so good.

they are light as a feather, front rim is double walled, really thick sidewall ( double thickness so im told )

big holes in them aswell, much bigger than the koxx.

i say go for them, with out a doubt.

best drilled rim around (Y)(Y)(Y)

Echo 2006

Description:

- NEW Trials-specific rims from Echo.

- Super wide 38mm front and 48mm wide rims offer un-paralleled anti-roll performance, even at the lowest of pressures.

- 24mm holes in the front, and 30mm at the rear, to shed vast amounts of weight.

- High grade aluminium alloy construction for maximum grind life and dent resistance.

- Double wall construction for increased strength and stiffness.

- The rear rim also features double thickness sidewalls! These help prevent dents, and provide extra rim life since the rim can be ground many more times!

- Cleverly placed internal walls (see picture), situated closer to the spoke bed than other rims, help support the spokes better, for a stiffer and stringer wheelbuild.

- Un-eyeletted to save around 50g of weight per rim!

- Anodised finish (including the braking surface) works great out of the box, and also looks good when using a disc brake!

- Colours: Black, Silver, Gold, Red, Blue and Green!

- Available in 32h only.

- Weight approx: Mod > 400g front, 500g rear, Stock > 580g front, 720g rear.

Big man did a post when he had a rear one in his BT6. his 18 stone i think he said, has massive power abilty and is a dam fine rider and will do all he can to kill soemthing and test it to the max. The rim is still in A1 con, no eggging, flat spots etc etc. As i said search
