biked
hi guys i'm new here. daniel from new zealand. the only person i can so far relate my tyre pressure is to moo moo. both are 30.y's everyone's tyre pressure so low? i don't have a trials bike, but a mountain bike. is that the reason?neways gud to be here
Modified
Hey, I have my rear tire at about 12 PSI only, I only weigh 7 stone though, so it's nice and bouncy for me For the front, less than that, 8? or so. I go to front wheel a fair bit aswell but im not likely to dent a front rim.Modified
poopipe
hi guys i'm new here. daniel from new zealand. the only person i can so far relate my tyre pressure is to moo moo. both are 30.y's everyone's tyre pressure so low? i don't have a trials bike, but a mountain bike. is that the reason?neways gud to be here basically it's a lot easier to keep balanced if the tyre's nearly flat, you get more grip as well but it does slow you down and dramatically increases the likelyhood of getting pinch-flats and dents in your rim.mod tyres especially have massively thick sidewalls which makes up for a lot of the missing air so running 7 or 8 psi in the back doesn't necessarily mean you're grinding along on your rim all the time. dunno about stock cos ive never asked anyone.if you want silly pressures look at bmxers - i used to run about 80psi but i think i saw tyres that'll take up to 120 fairly recently. they must roll proper fast.. new_to_trials
If you are just starting trial like be put them both at 25-30psi till you become good and are a lot more smother on the rear and front. Then go on a nice low psi that feels rigth to your weigth style off riding and what you ride on street, woods, park sam lewis

The jump/street bike i have runs 80psi in a set of Halo twin rails.Mike.
bhups
hello I run my front at 15 and back at 18-20 Bhups.
MesaMan
Seems no one has brought rim width and tyre into the equation it's a pretty useless topic. I run 47mm rear with Maxis and am about 25psi on the rear, but I am an F.B.

steve sturt
What pressure do you have your front and rear tires at?Thanks Allen I run mine just hard enough. Dont know what pressure that is, but its still bouncy enough to feel slow and controlable, but it doesnt blow out.

Sam Oliver
I run 20psi rear normally (rocks etc) but depends on what im riding. For mud & slippy banks i would half this. Still seems a lot comparedto moto trials i use to run 3.5 psi on the rear.

Tomm
About 25 in the rear (stops it folding you see) and around 20 in the front. I would run less in the rear if I could though.
