JonCongreve
My dad had basically given me his old camcorder which he never used. There was no software that i know of that came with it. I have a USB and also i Firewire (i.Link) port with cables, but once connected it recognises the camera, but does not show any footage etc. So to get video's onto my computer will i need to get some software, to buy or download even? Or is there anything else i could do to get the video's to transfer?Any advice please, cause then i can bring out a video p.s. It's a Sony Digital 8 camcorder (DCR-TRV245E) if that helpsThanks Jon
Ashley Smith
you could try connecting the camera, then opening windows movie maker and click capture......just a thought...........ash
