Houseface Posted December 17, 2005 Report Share Posted December 17, 2005 hey,a while ago i kept using white spirit on my front pads/rim and i found that in the dry it works amazing...but then when it rained...it worked eve better than when it was dry any explanation for this?i also recomend doing it steve. butcha87 Posted December 17, 2005 Report Share Posted December 17, 2005 White spirit has oil in it!If you used it to degrease your rims, than you're using the wrong stuff, use Methylated Spirits over White Spirit. I've done it once before and my brakes were shocking!Yours probabl got better in the rain cos it washed some of the white spirit off!
