Swize Posted December 15, 2005 Report Share Posted December 15, 2005 (edited) Need to remove a 15th dicta .Well ive been to halfords and the local bmx shops.They can't take it off it off becuase its a 15th, then the axle is too big for the tool.So what next do i run out side and grab the grinder? Can i do anyother bodges ?Would clamping the freewheel in a vice and turning work?Well sam need help anyidears and i don't want to buy a tool. Chris@Onza rider Posted December 15, 2005 Report Share Posted December 15, 2005 i had a dicita i took it off with a grinder. you pull it all apart until there is only the bit that goes onto the crank left then you just take bits off. you will probably go into the thread i did but this dont matter i have put loads of new freewheels on since then and its been fine. The Next Steve Peat Posted December 16, 2005 Report Share Posted December 16, 2005 I might be wrong here, but with my broken freewheel i couldn't get off, i cut the outer cog section off so all the brearings fell out, then clamped the bit that was threaded on the the cranks in a big vice and just turned the cranks.
