tipsy Jock
Just wondering will a bike handle differently if it has an almost identical bar height yet set up one way it has more spacers but a stem with less rise and the other way it has the reverse of this? I'm just playing about with my set up at the mo and curious, oh and one stems 90 long and 10 deg rise, the other 90 long and 5 deg rise. Anyone able to shed some light? a confused Pete Edited December 14, 2005 by tipsy Jock
nafan
It may affect you slightly, mostly on the back wheel though. If the bars are at the same level there will be no difference, however if they are different, it will obviously affect the feel.An quite sure Nathan
jamesb
The stem will hit you "where it hurts" more often if it is low rise. Not much more though.Only major diff. Edited December 15, 2005 by jamesb
