amenguit355
i would make it so that you could learn different moves and jumps every time you beat a level and custimize your own trials bike with earning more parts it would be so cool! what would you put in a trials game if you had a chance? and is there a trials biking game that you know of?(cycling trials)

Ash-Kennard
hahaha pedal of honour was so shit it was unbelievable. i would want a course that you could alter as well as the bikes, e.g. pallets/cottonreels/walls. abit like age of empires stylee
amenguit355
yeah that would be so cool i wish there was one every one would buy it
Ash-Kennard
yeah, but, they wouldn't there is only like 2000 trials riders world wide, if that, some won't own a computer, some won't care.
lankyri
ok surely if you got the game along the lines of tony hawks or matt hoffmans games that could be cool, like gap to rail 50pts something cool and actually take proper places like shell centre in london or leeds. and yeah you earn money or points and upgrade your bike from a deore hub to a hope then king, and frames start off with a origional MTB and work up to have a fresh zoo or echo. it would be class and you have to keep on tappin a button to hop.only problem is although the sport is growing its not going to over take the leaders of the extreme sports eg skateboarding and bmxing and producers and who people will not make a game if its not as good as its competition great idea though and i wish there was a game like that im gonna play matt hoffman now try and do some trials on it haha
adamtrials
yeah that would be so cool i wish there was one every one would buy itIt wouldnt be impossible to make a free one...However imo the difficulty with a trial bike sim with full axis'sof motion is controling it, you would have side to side balance, front and back balance, steering, brakeing, pedaling, hopping and probably other stuff ive forgotten. Then you would require a decent physics engine, graphics and whatever. What we need is a load of trials riding amateur game developers with far too much spare time... lankyri
yea if we did get this game just think of a playstation joy padarrow keys for balancex- hoppinL1- rear brakeR2- front brakeand then other buttons could be uised for like rollina gaps, front wheel back wheel and tapsi know il just email tony hawks and ask if he could tell me how much it costs to make one of his games lol and get a poll and get trials riders to pay a bit for this game

Matt_Tupman
First off motorbike trials IS PROPER TRIALS secondly the sport of trials is way to complex to be put into game format and be realistic until we have developed realistic vurtual simulation and even then i think i'd rather just do the real thing Edited December 11, 2005 by Matt_Tupman

ogre
I trials game wouldn't be any good, because if you look at a game like tony hawks or dave mira they are very smooth games, you dont realy have to think much on them do you? with trials theres a lot of messing around before you do something isn't there, i don't know if expressed that well but heres another point, there are a limited number of "tricks" unlike skating(when i say tricks for trials i mean moves you don't need, they just look good)sorry to slash on your bonfire

poopipe
First off motorbike trials IS PROPER TRIALS secondly the sport of trials is way to complex to be put into game format and be realistic until we have developed realistic vurtual simulation and even then i think i'd rather just do the real thing It's entirely doable - we've had realistic physics simulation for about 20 years and it's been a viable option in realtime for the last 5. Just cos nobody can be bothered to do it doesn't mean it can't be done.I've been toying with the idea of doing a trials game by modding UT2004 for a while now (it's already got decent vehicle physics & IK). If i were to give it a go there'd be no buggering about with tonyhawk style button mashing. Just realistic bike control - controlling the body with one stick, the bike with the other and having buttons for brakes and pedals. I'll think on it for a while, I've been wanting to do another mod for ages and this might be a good one to have a crack at. Of course i might just decide to do one with tanks instead cos it'll be easier.
JoNnY__Mc
noooooooo, dont do tanks do trials i have always thought about it... if i knew how to do it and had the equiptment to do it i would have made one already, it really needs to be done.... would take alot of time but would be well worth it... for times when ur bikes f**ked... or ur body could use all the buttons for different things... have tutorials, comps, free ride, shops, create a park... aswell as different rider options -pros like tunnicliffe or even make a player modes... could have all the top bike manufacturers - koxx, echo, zoo! and so on... and also all the not so good ones - mission, shogun and db... would be so pimped, have a crack at it
T_PRO
A biketrials game would be so great, they could have create-a-bike mode, create-a-course mode, pratice modes and a championship mode with all the rules applied. The physics of the game would have to be spot on though
Trials Dave
trials bike games are only there for a rainy day. thats all. i think there good fun but i would like it if there were some better courses.
