learned wheelies on xc bike a few years back, used to go for miles.. can't go that far anymore though, it's not as fun..

learned manuals on the monty 219 i had, then over to the crescent and now coust. can go for ages if i get it right in th beginning, now without any fingers on the brakes either..

I can't do either, I really need to learn.

I seem to have problems with fully throwing my wieght back, any tips?

learn down hill. hold it in a manual on the back brake to begin with, then as you get better youll begin to find the balance point better and you can use the back brake less n less. Then learn to steer and pop in some hops...

both :P On everybike.... but i cant manual the roadie  he he

Nothing mentioned about 'coasters' though! i can do that too - not on the trials bike though, DH or xc bike with a higher saddle, like a manual - but sitting down! have to do it on a hill ideally!

As many people have suggested... the easiest way to learn to wheelie is on a xc bike - as your centre of gravity is higher - and therefore easier to whip the front up! Then just practise and experience gets you doing it on other bikes....
