Mr Motivator
Use Nitromors and wash it off.
Ali C
caustic soda wont do anything to it. I am afraid nitromores is best, not too bad really just buy loads and pour it into a tub or somthing and rest the bottom of your rim in it for a while, then turn the wheel a little bit untill the whole lots done. dave85
Nitromors take a bit of time and a few applications on the powdercoat Sun use. A decent scraper helps massively rather than a brush.
shovel
use B&Q paint stripper, prob the same as nitromourse, its got a thick gel texture than you can paint onto the rim and it works real quick as the paint bubbles up after a minute or two and then you can powerwash off just be carful when stripping the rim that you don't get anything near your hub :P

rich4130
Try a pressure washer on it as well, just keep it away from the hub!
