Porkster
hi iam runny an acs and a fixed onza unsealed hub atm, i wish to upgrade, these are the options that i have thought of but any suggestion are welcome, eno and a fixed viz hub or a profile mini what would you go for and why many thanx tom I am running a 2006 echo rim (48mm) with a echo fixed cassette on the rear and a white industries freewheel up front, feels very solid. On the back wheel, the ultra wide rim feels very stable with a 2.5 maxxis minion( if you can fit it in your frame) Another very popular set up is a drilled alex dx-32 rim with a chris king hub, but CK would cost you a bunch more :) We dont get much of the Viz stuff over here, sorry so i wouldnt know about that yet, but the eno freewheel is amazing. deanie-b
I would upgrade Your freewheel... Would probably cost less than a decent rear hub, and lets face it, Acs freewheels aren't Amazing are they?
breedy13
i think it would be worth the wait for the new echo hub to come out then you get the same engagement as a king and less money than a profile.
Martin Grainger
20"? Echo Rear rim (CNC or 06 drilled) ON A Echo cassette hub (cheaper then a profile!) WITH Mutiny BMX spokes :P - would be my ideal rear wheel
crackedonza
hey, deffiently go for the profile or echo cassete hubs, the are really worth it in the long run. Ive just upgraded from my eno on the front to a profile, just gives you so much more confidence and you atleast know its not going to blow up on you on a big gap
