Matt_Tupman
Lizard skins if you can still get them (Y) they are quite thin and pad of neopren, great protection and not very bualky or heavy 661 make some very similar i think
Technical Tom
I have fox ones which are quite good but they slip down you rlegs a little. They do offer really good protection though. Cheers, Tom
MaXsteri
I have the £10 Mongoose ones from CRC, but i never use them as they are beasts. Its impossible to hurt yourself while wearing them, as its impossible to move enough to get into a situation where you could hurt yourself (Y) Recommend avoiding those
grantham
I had the fox ones before, there too big really, But ive got monty ones now and they are nice and thin, light yet still protect the legs. I'd recomend them.
poopipe
Ive got squashy 661 knee shin combo jobbies - they're a bit sweaty in summer but cos they cover your whole lower leg i can ride in shorts even in this weather and dont mash my jeans up. they havent failed to protect me yet and they arent too bulky or restrictive (as long as you dont do em up too tight)
Brian Bleech
I have two sets: some tsg neopene wrap around ones, which are similar to the lizard skins ones mention eariler. They are great pads and lasted years. They are good for the winter as they help keep you warm too :) I also have some of the cheapest fox knee/shin ones, which i have chopped the knee part off, these are a lot cooler in the warm weather :) mike
Scotty Evil1
I have a few sets hehe I find the best are sixsixone shin pads And also the monty ones are really good, as you can adjust how thick u want the paddding ( 2 layers of plastic, 1, none just the fabric), and the are very compfy 661 or monty :P :P Edited December 8, 2005 by Scotty Evil1
