Matt_Tupman
I don't think it's that bad, it may not be wizzy and flashy but it does the job  The onza website has normally got updates before we talk about the new bits that have updated
MaXsteri
The supercycles website is annoying. All the links to component categorys link to the same page (Y) As a result I only buy stuff from there when i'm desperate
Ash-Kennard
but its better than the koxx website, flashing and triangles everywhere, tis just annoying. if they updated it then it would all be good, its the fact that they have stuff from years ago up there. deagledaddy
I have a feeling they make most of thier money from phone sales anyway, plus supplying smaller bike shops etc. They don't need to worry about the website really.. if thier business was going downhill i'm sure they would. But magazine adverts etc. are often jsut as effective. Don't forget they are not a web based retailer as such (like Tartybikes and Selectbikes are)
Dan6061
If they kept as a simple, yet effective html website, it'll be a lot better for everyone. Then you don't have to wait for stupid Flash intro's, and the content to load up. (Y) I agree that they should keep it updated. :)
Simon
Maybe someone, or someones should get in contact and see if they want a new site for a reasonable price. (Y) Going to dominate bike trial websites i tell thee! :)
JT!
Theres an infinite amount of improvements that can be made. Magura levers are crude overcomplicated things. (Y) Spend a few mins on http://www.woollyhatshop.com/, and you'll go crawling back. If you want to buy and acid you have to click on hope. :)
Shaun H
And the website's on every one of their bikes :) The supercycles sites isn't so bad but the Onza one is just shocking, more so because most of it is just so old/outdated/confusing than just being crap. Mark W
In fairness, the last update was August 1st about the Tensile cranks, so it's fair enough really. There just hasn't been anything else to put up there? :) Usually they're pretty good about protos, and they seem to just get the info up on here anyway, such as the Zoot, etc. Supercycles isn't too bad though? It's fairly easy to get around and it's got all their new bits on there? 'sides, just gotta phone 'em up if you can't find anything, same as anyone. I'm finding Cleanbike's site a bit of a mission to use at the moment :) Just doesn't seem to have *that* much info on some products, plus the layout doesn't really flick my switch... Simon
Cleanbikes too heh? *adds to his bike trial site domination list* :) On a serious note, the Onza site, i think its more that the design hasn't changed in years, and literely up until recently, the bikes that were showed, were from 2 years ago. With Onza becoming/having become such a huge player in the bike trials market, i would just find it fitting that they get a revamped website. Tell Mike (he owns onza right?) to get in contact with me or br3n, and we'll sort this out. :)

No doubt someone from Supercycles will read this thread, so I guess they'll know about people's concerns anyway. They have a web designer anyway I believe, so it'd be up to them what they do I guess. Mark W
Don't have a f**king clue, to be honest :) I just remember being told they had someone doing it when I mentioned it to a member of staff there a while back.

Probably just to keep you quiet :D They really should unleash an interweb ninja on it though, keep up with the other brands and have somewhere we can see all the models without having prices and deals flashed constantly at us :)
Sam Nichols
They don't need to worry about the website really.. ... Don't forget they are not a web based retailer as such (like Tartybikes and Selectbikes are) I've got to admit Tartybikes isn't my favourite site for browsing etc, infact i really dont like it. Sorry Ads/Dave but it just doesn't really do anything for me. Top notch service, top notch company, below average site. :) Edited December 7, 2005 by nichols_sam

Sorry Ads/Dave but it just doesn't really do anything for me. Top notch service, top notch company, below average site. :) Their new site is the bee's knees. Not 100% finished yet though but when it's done. You'll load it I suspect.
PaRtZ
I found something wrong with selectbikes. I put in the details for the billing address and when It got to the postcode i put my postcode in with the space i.e. XX11 1XX But it missed out the last digit. So i thought fair enough but I cant find where I can change it :) Luckily the postal address was alright.... I despised the old koxx site. I never went on it when people said "look at this on the koxx site" everything was just too diagonal
MaXsteri
I've got to admit Tartybikes isn't my favourite site for browsing etc, infact i really dont like it. Sorry Ads/Dave but it just doesn't really do anything for me. Top notch service, top notch company, below average site. :) I thought the website was fine, what don't you like about it? I don't really get on with the selectbikes website, the different sections for different frame manufacturers is annoying, so is having so many unnecessary sections. The Brake pads, Brake spares and Brakes sections might as well just be one section, and why have a seperate section for front hubs and not rear? Splitting it down too much complicates things, also listing the new echo rim five/six times for all the different colours is annoying, they might as well just use a drop down box to select colour. If it was better organised then i would order more, least it has online ordering though :)
Krisboats
I always forget about the onza site, mainly because it never seems to have changed. I think they could probably get away with just having 2 updates pages though seeing as i don't think anyone really uses the rest of the site. I also think supercycles site is a bit shocking, the main layout is fine, its just when you want to get to the actual products theres either no picture, no info about the product or its put you off buying from there. (well it does me anyway) O.T. I also don't like the £3 something postage charge, it makes me want to see if anywhere else has stuff first that can deliver it for free... like chainreaction I think if it could be changed like www.trialsshop.co.uk has been it would be loads better, they used to be really quite similar before but now trialsshop wins my vote just for having pictures of most of their stock makes me want to buy from them. Sam Nichols
Their new site is the bee's knees. Not 100% finished yet though but when it's done. You'll load it I suspect.I'll have to wait and see I'm not familiar with the phrase 'load it' ?I thought the website was fine, what don't you like about it? Just what I said really, not my cup of tea... A bit too basic for me. I mean there's not really anything 'wrong' with it persay, just nothing that grabs me. It's functionably but that's where it ends.I really want a proper basket to be there too, because an web/mail order company needs to be able to take web orders straight from their site in my opinion... I know that these baskets can be bloody expensive to set up (looked into them myself) and are really difficult to code etc... But i think it is something that simply needs to be there. I still shop with them though, kinda hypocritical but I love the company.Looking forward to the new site though
Simon
The basket is the easy part, hell, i could make a basket, it's the paying for it over a secure server thats the problem for me. I could easily by january knock you up a fully functional shop with basket, returning user area, save basket, the list could go on, but making it so the user can checkout, over SSL (https://) is a lot more difficult, and is where web developers charge the most money. Hell, SSL certificates are like 60 quid by themselves, and thats just for a year last time i checked. It's more the Onza site though, for a company of their amplitude, their site is lacking, is what i think most people are getting at. There is nothing wrong with it, but nothing right with it either. Will be good to see the new site, just hope its done soon.
