TheMunn
The most popular hubs would be hope or chris king, if you can afford it then get yourself a king. Hope are very good hubs and last a long time, same goes for the king however they do need more looking after.
CurtisRider
i really like my bulb, it has skipped a few times, but thats not surprising i prefer it to my old king, and hopes warranty is top notch hope xcs are rather good too, but ive found i cant go back to 1 now since having the bulb (i went straight back to an xc from a king and improved...) however, others will disagree-most people find bulbs break too easily, and prefer kings
STEVE-0
Steer away from the Hope Bulb as soon as possible because you dont want to get lumbered with a hub that breaks every 2 months! And the XC if you want GOOD engagement. :ermm: I'm running a front freewheel now (ENO 72eng) and it is immensse. Best choice i ever made - although it depends if your cranks are compatible because you may end up having to buy new cranks, bashring, hub and freewheel, which is about £200-250 altogether... Thats the best choice, by far, for: strength, price, engagement and quality (last over 2 years at least) in my opinion. CKings will always be amazing as well but the price is :ermm:
Biff...
I've heard good things about the new acho hub 72 engaments like the king but nearly 3 times cheaper than the king at £110 http://tartybikes.co.uk/products.php?product=hubs_rearhttp http://tartybikes.co.uk/image.php?image=soon26freehub.jpg Hope this has helped cheers Kyle.
