Mr_Pitbull
First Post..... Just wondering how everybody is coping with this earl of Winter weather we have been struck with. Seems like the roads never seem to dry and the walls forever green and slippary. I was out riding today, and it took me 20 mins to warm up :P not liking that at all, seems i cant sit down to relax without going cold again. Lets pray for warmer days. Thurston
rather annoying up here in Scotland, it's either raining all the time or so cold your hands literally freeze up as soon as you go out. :P
TheMunn
Winter conditions do put a bit downer on riding, it's not so bad when its cold but soon after things become icey and wet, not good. I'm hardly riding at all now, if I am its on my bmx because the trials bike is broken but still, its december now, only 2 more months of this, give or take, and all will be warmer again. Thurston
At this rate it will probably end up being 3-4 months of cold wet conditions.
Sam Oliver
I have switched from moto-trials and now the weather is getting colder im finding it quite different. With the motorbike you have got all the big boots quilted Sherco jacket etc to keep you warm & dry but with my monty all i really want to ride with is a t shirt. Very cold when your hanging around but not to bad when your on the move. Might get some hoodies for xmas with a bit of luck. :P

N.Wood
S'alright, annoying having to warm up before hand, but after 10 mins or so its fine. At the end of every ride i've ever been on, i've been really hot and had to roll my sleeves up or whatever. Either way, no one can do anything about it, so you just have to embrace it :P
Clarky
brake froze snapped my tpa in my 05 pissed off that's all come to think of it. :P clarky
B.E.A.U
I find i feel liek shite when i go riding and the wheather is liek this. i also feel scared. I have not rode for about 3 to 4 weeks now because my bike is in bike hospital lol. I hate the wet more tahn anything in the whole world. I can cope with cold because i wear alot of t shirts lol. I dont like jumpers that much. But i use the cold and wet for prsctice with balance and smoothness, So when its summer i will be better because ill have more grip. :) :P
deanie-b
Not bad not bad, I'm using v-brakes still on my mad though, as it's my first stock bike, so i usually find my planned ride cut way too short for my liking :P
miket-raptorman
this is my first trials winter and it really sucks
spode@thinkbikes
Well, I shouldn't/can't ride for another 4 weeks until this foot is properly healed. but it's so damned tempting! My KOT frame recently arrived and I've been just ITCHING to try it. The temptation is aided by the fact I don't have a back brake :P A couple of weeks ago the weather was fine, but I am finding even road riding a little on the dangerous side. I had my back wheel skid out going round a sharp corner the other day. It was ICE.
Brian Bleech
it will be freezing in dec, jan and fed, then rain all the time until end April. cant wait :P its all good. yeah its all good - been having some right good rides recently, despite tim abusing me for not wearing gloves. yeah i find that winter rides are shorter, but with less messing around and sitting & relaxing (thats what summers for :) ) Edited December 1, 2005 by leedstrials
T-BAD
it s'ok till it starts raining then it aint me that aint coping, its my front tyre...its a SLICK! lol never mind though just go out and have fun :P
Mark W
Most nights now I don't get to ride 'til after 10pm, so it's a case of 5+ layers and then I'm usually fine. Just wet weather f**ks me off seeing as I'm on my BMX 99.9% of the time these days...

spode@thinkbikes
I've had some nasty accidents because of slippery ground, so caution is definetely advised..
