spode@thinkbikes
I'm just organising a new disc for my KOT MS2. The rear is pre-set at +20mm. I have bought a 180mm disc for it. My question is, do I need a different caliper or is the angle the same? I'm a little confused on how it works. I'm planning on sticking either mono mini or a mini on the back. IIRC they use 160mm discs. So will it work with the 180 I've bought?
Dan Clark
Should work perfect, it jsut pushes the caliper 20mm further away if you get me.
Tomm
You could have just bought a front disc I think. Although I can never remember which way round it is, I think the back needs a 20mm smaller disc for the same caliper (but it might be the other way around). I guess the Kot just has a universal disk mount so you can easily swap discs from front to back and stuff. Although you might have lever troubles... Brisa
If your buying a disc that is to be used with a 160 then on the KOT the 180 rotar will be what you require.
spode@thinkbikes
Excellent, that's what I thought.
