Tomm
Wow Mark, you really, really don't like this frame do you? :S I think it looks good, the bash looks to me like a good idea, even if it's not an improvement it's something different. I'm a little bit curious as to why Toxsin (rediculous name) have decided to go for a short mod when everyone these days is a drop-gap fiend, but it looks nice enough to me. I guess we'll have to wait and see how it rides though.

Mark W
I...er...<insert "heart" emoticon> the Toxsin 1 frame. I think it's still the best stock frame I've ever ridden ('cept Janson's Coust :S). I was just saying that JT's assumption of "If it's 1000mm, it'd be OK?" was a bit far-fetched? Meh... But nah, I didn't think the massive hype was justified really. But there we go. Some of my questions weren't answered which didn't really help the cause, but c'est la vie. I'm sure one non-sale won't crush them or anything :)
JT!
I was just saying that JT's assumption of "If it's 1000mm, it'd be OK?" was a bit far-fetched? Well, if you have your wheel set up so it's as close as it could possibly go forward (so that the axel is actuly touching the curved bit of the dropout) the WB would still be about half a cm longer than 958mm becuase the center of the bolt will be that far away from where the WB is originaly measured. (If that makes sence) So that's half a cm added on stight away. So then all you need to do is move the wheel back 3.5cm, and then it's near enough 1000m. Obviously the position of the wheel is going to make a difference, but it takes it from 958mm (which will put people off just by looking at it) to 998, or even more. Which looks a bit more attractive. Edited December 3, 2005 by JT!
