Fergal's Bleed Kits

Hi, I just had an idea of selling my own homemade bleed kits. They are really cheap and work just as well as magura bleed kits. The basic kit would just be a 30ml or a 50ml syringe, flexible plastic pipe, christmas tree fitting and some simple instructions and I would sell it for about £3.50-£4.50. Picture of one i bodged up earlier.

Let me know if you are interested or if you think it's a good idea

Also I might do a kit with spare olives, oil, etc.

Did you use the 2 little blocks from a maggie bleed kit to fit them??? (im guessing not seeing as you where making one)

And to joe maher: I heat the tube in boiling water to make it softer and expand.

I broke my original bleed kit syringe 3 days after getting it whilst i was on holiday in penzance, i was pushing the hosing onto the syringe and the bloody syringe snapped. :D

You get some really funny looks when you walk around town asking people in shops if they sell big fat syringes :D :lol: . The woman in boots was like "er.. what are you going to use this for? It better be legal!" (Y)

if your having trouble with the blocks to put hold the pipe still while you try to push the little metal fitting into it you can get 2 pieces of wood and then get a drill with a 6-8mm drill bit (i don't know exactly what size) then push the drill onto the wood sideways on so it makes a groove in the side of the wood, then you can put the hose inbetween the two blocks and clamp it in a vice.

ye remember in wales when i broke mine (Y) haha, bloody sodding thing, all my propa tools were in my big blak bag of tricks and had to use a DMR V8 syringe that luckily we took with us when we left shrewsberrys! haha. was propa BO! altho with the DMR V8 syringe if you break th cross over pipe you have to bleed it about 3times :lol: cos there isnt enuff oil in the syringe to do one bleed. teks a while but works the same.

Neways, i got my girlfriends brother to buy a bleed kit from onza, and i nicked it off him and got a "proper" syringe for it, and kept it :)

Off topic, pogonation i remember your actual name, from like 1 year ago, your the one who f**king ripped me off for some monty bars! i sent the money and didnt recieve the bars... you kept saying you would send the money back, but you never EVER did!

Iv just been on the www.heatsinkbikes.com website, and iv just noticed they have just started to sell magura bleed kits, these have all the fittings you need, including 2 free "heatsink" stickers, and they all come in a nice sealed pack for you to open and bleed B)

Anyways, i know, as do many others, you havnt just had this user name.... you had one before this one, i cant remember what it was though, but your cousin was selling a yellow T-mag, through you, and it had some monty flat bars on.... i said i would buy them for £16, then when i sent the money, i was waiting for 3 weeks, both for you to come onto msn, and for the bars. eventually you came on and said that they kept sending the bars back to you, and you didnt know why.... so you said you would sent the money back, but you never did, and every time i asked you where it was, you would say it was sitting next to you, and you were gonna send it off... where is it?
