bikerboysam1
Which hubs do you think are the best (value for money)? I was thinking Hope or Echo, but i don't really know... (Y) (Maybe the Hope XC for the front and Echo Fixed for the rear) (Y) Thanks, Sam
N.Wood
Hope don't make rear hubs for mods. I'd go with Echo rear, Hope front, as you say

Dan6061
There's no way of fitting a Hope in a mod frame, but as a front hub would be good. Profile all the way (Y)

ogre
*don't want to steal the topic but* arent hope meant to be making trial specific hubs or something? surely they would be ok for a mod?
poopipe
*don't want to steal the topic but* arent hope meant to be making trial specific hubs or something? surely they would be ok for a mod? im not 100% on this but i think stock hubs are a lot wider cos the frames are designed round having a cassette . a profile built into an onza rim is £215 ish - theyre about £150-170 on their own a chris king bmx hub is around the £400 mark - nice if you can get someone else to pay for it. the echo ones look pretty good value - i was quoted £185 for one built into a new echo rim - the bad news is that nobody seems to have them in stock yet.
