Simon
Right, after Luton got a big fat wank write up, i would like to know about Teesside. Just generally whats its like, the area, and such like. Also, i can't visit it or whatever, as its a 5 hour drive. :'( (I did say far away from here as possible. :'( ) And again, sorry for another thread like this. Sameer
Luton... Teeside... Someone has high aspirations. A family friend went to Teeside, hasn't become a chav/murderer/rapist and has a steady full time office job going, so I guess it ain't bad. I think Ben Slinger or someone went/lived there. rich4130
Mate of mine drove all the way up there to have a visit, he was interested on some crime scene investigation course, basically the course was the best in the country, but the university was a total shit hole. Not much help sorry. :'( Rich
tomturd
If I were you Simon id go for the place you think is the best, with a course that fits just about in. If the place you go to is shit, no matter how good the course if you will have a shit time. If the place you go to is excellent, even if the course is a bit shit you will still have a good time :'(
george_seamons
...and stop looking at places just 'cos they're really far away. Your whole life will completely change at uni anyway, so theres no need to try and get away from things. I know you've had a shit time recently, but is running away really the answer? Your whole life will completely change at uni anyway, so theres no need to try and get away from things. I know you've had a shit time recently, but is running away really the answer? Nah, but these are the only two Universitys that do the course that fits me. :'( I'm sure i'm looking in the wrong places to only find two Uni's that do a HND in Web Design or HND in Web Development. ;) Also, high aspirations? Are they tough Uni's to get into then? :'( Re-reading, do i detect sarcasm? :(
JT!
It's only a few miles away from me :) . If that isn't enough to bring you up here nothing is. :) I'm considering teeside myself, but haven't been yet. But i hear it's the top uni for vertual reality it that floats your boat. Tony Harrison
I know you've had a shit time recently, but is running away really the answer? I wouldn't say he was running away. From what I can tell, he's not happy so he wants to change things - taking a positive step to improve his prospects isn't running away. University is good for your CV and your career, but it's also good to get away from parents/home. I moved 250 miles away and it was the best thing I did, which is why 5.5 years later I'm still here. tricalum
Teeside university has been getting alot better , and the student accomodation from what I have seen looks very nice. They have built lots of new apartments for students.
