Thurston
Thanks for letting me know but im not really that hard a rider yet and im planning on upgrading the frame after crimbo anyway but cheers for the input. deonn trials 55
Personally I think the T-pro rides better than the T-mag.The t-mag is really heavy and not flicky at all.But if your going to be upgrading the frame after cristmas anyway get the Monty 219 magura disc click here £491 .I started on one 1 of those and they are really nice.Pretty light aswell. (Y) Cheers Deonn
Jules
I say get a t-pro, and dont get a new frame until you need one.
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
get the Monty 219 magura disc click here £491 Lmao, no, dont get that bike! lol they shit.... The T-mag is probably one of the best bikes for around that price (but the T-pro is still cheaper and probably even better...) I havnt heard of a T-mag snapping yet or cracking WITHOUT it being the old bash guard problem, but they have sorted that now, so it doesnt crack (Y) If your going to upgrade the frame, why bother buying a good frame with cheap part, so buy another good frame to put the cheap parts back on it? why not just keep the T-mag, they really nice frames to ride IMO! Martin Grainger
T-pro is cheaper and i think it is a generally better bike, or that monty. It doens't look too weak. Edited November 26, 2005 by Martin Grainger
Thurston
T-pro is cheaper and i think it is a generally better bike, or that monty. It doens't look too weak. I was thinking of getting the t-pro but with me being rather on the short side and the t-pro being longer than the t-mag then the mag sounds the better option and i was thinking bout getting the Monty 221 pro frame because there only like £200. It is the Avid Cable, and its not crap, it's the best cable you can get, better than some hydrolic ones. Maybe I didn't want a hydrolic aswell? Some people like Vee's, some like Maguras... Why does it matter to you? Mat

JoNnY__Mc
i dont get it (N) ... why would onza bring out a frame thats as bad as you all say it is? that costs more money than a frame thats "better"? it doesnt make sense to me, i have seen way more t-pros snapping than the t-mags, infact i have only even heard of t-mags snapping and not actually seen one? has anyone got any pictures of a snapped t-mag? because this is the bike that i have ordered and should be coming some time near christmas  is the bike as bad as people are making it out to be? if so i have just wasted £500 on a "heavy", "hard to ride" peice of shit? thats what everyone seems to be saying... either way i dont really care, its a nice looking bike, with good parts, if u snap them its probly because ur a harsh harsh rider... they say the proof is in the eating... seems to have some relevance here... you dont know if its true until you actually ride one and snap one yourself... and please no snide comments.... are they really as bad as people are making them out to be? joshywa
Yeah get a t-pro they're better... not they snap on the head tube (90% or summit of the broken ones on here did) onza are a international bike company they wont know shit about making bikes.... also not true so what its a bit heavyier than a t-pro but t-pro's are light frames made from 6061 alu where as the t-mag (correct me if i'm wrong) is made from 7005alu which is heavier but alot stronger just think of it this way the t-mag comes disc equiped, it has a one peice cnc BB yoke (like a zoo! or a zona) with a very nice spec so its not shit hope that helps :P
