Ash-Kennard
pretty much you are better off just buying a whole new magura, just for an extra 15quid. I'm using 04's ATM, but would really like to try an 05 lever on my bike, just for a change and to compare the too thoroughrly(SP?LOL) enough for my own opinion

mr ailsbury
I think that the 05 leavers felt nice but mine and evryone else that I know that had them has either snapped or cracked a few so I went back to the old ones and i love them! downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
I have the 05 lever on the rear of my bike, it feels SOOOOO nice, it doesnt even hurt your braking finger, but when i had my 04 lever, my finger hurt ALL the time and it didnt feel nice i preffer the 05 (Y)
Houseface
i prefer the '04 maggies because to me they dont look as bad. as for the feel, i cant choose between because i like the lenght and stuff of the '04 but i think the '05 have a better piston or whatever it is. overall id still go for the '04 (Y) steve. MaXsteri
I prefer the look of the 04's, but find the 05's a lot more comfortable to use. Although its all about what you are use to i guess.

Waynio
they wouldnt change something if it wasnt "Better" technology goes forward not backwards. what will you all do when there is no 04 brakes???? run v brakes???? im afraid its a rolling change. iv run 05 since one of the first few sets come into the UK and i cannot for love nor money go back to the 04 levers, just cos of the feel and shape of the lever, yes it does take a few days or a few rides to get used to the different feel and shape cos your so used to the 04 shape of levers etc. but im sticking with 05 until it changes. Waynio..........................

(Y) The blade feels nicer and the TPA doesnt snap off when hitting walls, mainly because it doesnt stick out...
