wolfie
The other day the spring inside my Surly Singleator (single speed conversion thingy), which holds my chains tension, snapped again. I don’t know about other people’s experiences with this product, but the spring has snapped 3 times, once in the installation under very little tension, and twice more in the re-tensioning of the Singleator after the chain had lost a lot of its tension. On all 3 occasions I have had to re-bend the spring making it smaller each time. I have now given up on this product and I am now using a DMR simple tension seeker, which seems a lot more efficient in doing the same job without the hassle of a spring. Anyway, getting to the point of this topic, I thought it would be useful for everybody to mention any products that you have found no good, which are worth avoiding and why. It would also help if you could recommend an alternative product too. Cheer guys and girls wolfie
