Punkrider
Hi At the moment i am riding a Giant (1008mm) and was thinking about getting a zoo pitbull '06 1060mm WB 375mm chainstays and 50mm Bottom Bracket rise. I ride street and i am 5 foot 7. I am not sure if the Zoo is to long, or if i will be able to ride it? Do you think i would be able to ride it, is it to big? A few people who i have spoken to say that i look like i am 'stretching' on my Giant? Any help appreciated Cheers Adam Edited November 25, 2005 by Punkrider
Mark W
I can still remember when people used to say Koxx Levelboss 1065's were super long, and that they were only just about usable for trials. Now, Felix for example said he was downsizing to a 1065 BT to try out bunnyhops and stuff. Anyway, 1060 should feel fine, really. It'll feel different, but just play around with your bar stem setup to fine tune the feel of it :P
Felix
1060 is the perfect allround length. Can't go wrong.
JonPace
1065 isn't that long these days. Buy one you'll love it trust me! I tried to stick with short bikes for years and it hindered my riding completely! Then I got a control 1085 and it was amazing, I improved so quickly! Take the risk you won't regret it at all! and 5 foot 7 isn't that small too you'll be fine. Jon

guineasmithpig
if u ride puerly street, i'd recommend stickin to ur giant. i had one before i had my levelboss, and though i can touch higher n stuff, i miss bein able to bunny hop everythin. i know a lot o guys can bunnyhop longer bikes, but i 'm considerin buildin ma giant again, just to see how it compares now that my 'pure' trials skills have developed. giants rule if u want a nice light street bike smithy

An_toin3
I would say yes.., but if you want to be sure, go for the hifi stem, 130mm X 15 :) And 1065 should be fine ! (Y)
jamesb
The zoo stem might be too long...get the Hifi. I'm 5'7" too and I ride a 1095 Adamant...feels good. The high bb makes it feel shorter (Y)
petit_pablo
Ive gone from the relativly short heavy tools frame to a 05 pitbull 1065. It took a few days to get used to the geo of the frame but after that i was laughing. I can hop higher, gap further, ride more controlled and do it with less effort. domonza
Hi, have u tried riding a pitbull yet and if you did, did you feel comfortable then if so then no worries.I am was considering buying a 1060 pitbull but i wasent sure because iam really short for my age (5,2) so i thought it would feel horrible but it didnt it felt perfect and can ride it with ease and gap further and it feels like i can throw it round quite comfortabley.also it feels lighter than my t-pro so ime buying it off him. If you havent tried riding one try and have ago on one im sure youll like it.Good luck DOM Edited December 10, 2005 by domonza
Caleb
Yeah 1060 aint that long at all in these standards and with a +50mm bb rise, it will feel a lot shorter than it actually is, so you get the pros of a short bike and a long bike in one think the giants were like 1040 anyway so shouldnt feel much different in length
Gaz M
well im 5 '7 and i prefer 1080 stock bikes, can ride ben lee's echo hifi really good so i really doubt that will be too short for you and im a mod rider i just moved from a 1000 wb to a 1050 wb bike and i love it, shouldnt be a problem just go for it you wont look back
