trials_pimp
gt sent a warning today "If you recieve a call on your mobile from any person, saying the he or she is an engineer checking your mobile line, and you have to press #90 or #09, or any other number, end the call immediatley without pressing numbers. There is a fraud company using a device that once you press these numbers they can access your sim cardand make calls at your expence. Forward this message to as many people as you can to stop this happening. ................................................ All Mobile phone users pay attention. If you recieve a call and your phone displays (XALAN) DO NOT ANSWER THE CALL. End it immediately. If you answer your phone will be infected with a virus. This virus will erase all IMEI & IMSI from both your phone and you SIM card, which will make your phone unable to connect with a telephone network. You will have to buy a new phone. This information has been confirmed by both Motorola and Nokia." anyone heard of this before?

Michael Hardman
I think its true, there was stuff on the news about phone viruses. Something to do with phones becoming more like small computers, they can be affected the same way a computer can.
