Should go there for a ride, how long does it take on the old red funnel? dont have a clue. i caught the fastcat yellow thing, that takes bout 15mins from portsmouth harbour train station :P
Mr Motivator
Fred's on about the Red Funnel from Southampton. It's easier to go to Portsmouth and then get the Fast Cat, and cheaper and faster.

Hobnobs
Nice pics, especially like the one of all of you looking at the whale, what happened to it? For some reason, i tend to keep away from shots from a high angle, it doesnt really add anything to a picture imo. In yours the pictures look a bit too busy for my liking, the last picture especially, you cant really tell what the subject of the picture is. Bear in mind i have no style or artistic flair whatsoever, so you have no reason to listen to my opinion :P

Smo™
Nice pics, I like the way they look 'raw' instead of perfectly crisp and clear. Good stuff :P Would've stayed out for longer if a certain someone hadn't destroyed a certain something in a certain place! As for the whale, it was diseased (hepatitis) and had died at sea a few days before drifting onto Seaview beach. Today it was 'dismantled' by several JCB's who split it open (with their gurt bucket things) and gutted it basically. For a few hours after the sand was pink, then it was washed away, bye-bye whale. Dai the Socket
If I came down would I have anyone to ride with. I've got a Great Aunty who lives there and might give her a visit with the old push bike. I don't drive and neither does she though, so getting about may be a problem. I can't remember where she lives exactly, can find out though if need be... Well good pics! Looks ace. Nick
Smo™
There are 5 Islanders that ride, 4 of which drive - shouldn't be a problem finding someone to ride with mate :)
